Welcome to Ma'ema'e Elementary
_
Ma`ema`e, clean and pure in the Hawaiian language, is situated in beautiful, historic Nu`uanu Valley. Founded in the late 1800's, Ma`ema`e has grown from a simple three-building facility to its present design with seven buildings that accommodate nearly 645 students from kindergarten through the fifth grade.
Residents from all facets of the community support the school in many ways. The annual Family Fun Night and the Ma`ema`e School Community Council, are examples of people in the community coming together to create an environment that supports learning and growing for all.
